OK, I guess that's what they're saying, but my suspicion is that they couldn't get anyone to join their league. Let's face it; the WAC is one of the lowest bottom-feeder conferences of major college football. The only crew lower on the totem pole is the Sun Belt. I guess the WAC could've poached a team or two from the Sun Belt (Lousiana-Lafayette & Louisiana-Monroe, maybe?), but is that even worth the effort?
